Board and Consortium

Overview

The Board and Consortium provide direct strategic and operational oversight of CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas to help develop a comprehensive and high-quality workforce delivery system in the local area which include the two counties, Hillsborough and Pinellas.

Consortium

The Consortium is the group of elected officials appointed by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners (“Hillsborough CEO”) and Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners (“Pinellas CEO”) to act as the chief local elected officials for CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas, Region 28, in accordance with the Interlocal Agreement Between the Hillsborough CEO and Pinellas CEO.

Board

The function of the Board shall be in accordance with WIOA sec. 107(d), 20 Code of Federal Regulations 679.370 and section sections 445.007, F.S. and composition/required members shall be in accordance 20 Code of Federal Regulations 679.320 with a majority of the members representative of businesses in the local area.

Statement of Financial Interest

Effective July 1, 2021 445.007(1), F.S. requires that notice of board member/staff filings of Statement of Financial Interests with the Commission on Ethics are posted on the CareerSource Hillsborough Pinellas website. Each disclosure or statement has been filed with the Florida Commission on Ethics. A copy of each disclosure or statement may be obtained on the Florida Commission on Ethics website located at Florida Commision on Ethics
